Gowanus Canal

In this water under the Carroll Street Bridge were swimming thousands of tiny fish, making this superfund site an unlikely nursery.

They were here, too, under the Union Street Bridge.

Street painting on Carroll.

The temperature has dipped today to a bearable 81'F/27'C. Quelle joy.

I am off to see six big birches being delivered to the small Tribeca terrace whose transformation is in progress. Pictures to follow when it is all done.

  1. Thanks for that Wiki link...here, a Superfund is one of the black holes in which bankers invest one's superannuation. ;-)
